A-Level Lang-Lit students: over the next few weeks, Mr Lancaster will be going through several processes involved in creative writing. These will be of great use to year 12s for the production task and for year 13s for the ‘Cupcakes’ task. Take note; make notes! Meanwhile, I am attempting to re-create the voice of the finest heroine literature has ever seen. I won’t tell you who she is, you should be able to tell me, but you should be able to see how I’ve used lexical choices, syntax and grammar to create a voice. Feel free to tell me what you think of the young (?) lady and how successful I’ve been. Don’t be scared to criticise.
